CLCGA One Day Team Trophy Rules

1. Each Club can enter a team of five players, whose names, with current handicap indexes must be submitted by a designated date to the Competition Secretary.

2. Entries and entry fees to be received by date of the Council Meeting. A draw for the participating clubs to be made at that meeting by the Competition Secretary and the County Ladies’ Vice-Captain.

3. The competition is 18 holes Stroke play with 95% allowance of course handicap.

4. The team shall play in Course Handicap order, lowest first. Failure to observe this rule will result in disqualification of the team.

5. Should a player be disqualified, for whatever reason, it will not disqualify the whole team.

6. If the weather conditions are extremely bad, the Captains of the Teams scheduled to play first, the organisers, and the host Captain, shall decide the availability of play.

7. Trophies
• The team returning the lowest aggregate of the best four gross scores will be awarded the Scratch Trophy for one year.
• The Team returning the lowest aggregate of the best four nett scores will be awarded the Handicap Trophy for one year.
Should one team return the best gross and best nett, they shall hold the Gross Trophy, and the second lowest aggregate nett score will hold the Handicap Trophy.
• An Individual Plate will be awarded to the best individual gross.
• An Individual Plate will be awarded to the best individual nett score.
