Cumbria County 4s Competition 2021 4th July
Cumbria County 4's competition will be played at Workington Golf Club on Sunday 4th July 2021. Each Team of 2 (Two) players having handicaps of lower than 9.4 and must have WHS handicaps and be listed on their Home Clubs Central Data Base of Handicaps (CDH). Each player Must be a member of a club affiliated to The CUGC or else born in Cumbria and be a member of a club affiliated to England Golf. Players will provide their CDH number to complete the Entry form.
** BE AWARE .Entering your CDH number once will deem your intention to enter the competition, thus further attempts to enter your CDH will not allow you to proceed. ONLY ENTER CDH NUMBER ONCE.**
The Entry Fee MUST be paid prior to the competition through the CUGC Website :- cumbria-golf-union.org.uk
The competition will consist of 2 Rounds of 18 holes in Medal Format. The morning round will be 4BBB with the 2nd Round being in Foursomes Format. The competition will offer prizes for GROSS & NETT results to those returning the 3 LOWEST aggregate score in each category, with no Pair allowed to receive more than 1 Prize. In the event of a tie for ANY prize, matching of scorecards as outlined on page 403 of THE RULES OF GOLF will be applied. At the completion of each round, the Players will retire to the Recorders office to check their score. Once they are satisfied, the scorecard will be handed to the Official/Recorder. Once the Team has left this area, the card is deemed to be returned. In all cases The Rules of Golf shall apply and the decision of the CCC in any and all matters shall be final.
