Cumbria win 2nd Match in Daily Telegraph League
Excellent Team win for Cumbria v Cheshire at Carlisle.After their first win at Gosforth Golf Club against Northumberland,Cumbria were eager to repeat their performance against Cheshire.
The team showed their respect for Past President Jeff Blair by all wearing a small white ribbon in his rememberance which was a heartwarming touch.
Cumbria Lead the morning Foursomes by 3 1/2 - 2 1/2 This gave the Cumbrian side a good head start for the singles to come in the afternoon.
Afternoon singles results was a very pleasing 7 1/2 - 4 1/2 .
Making the overall match result 11-7 to Cumbria.
With a great result the Team was very much looking forward to the next match against Yorkshire at Ilkley GC on 8th July 2019
