Scratch League Play-off
At the 2018 Scratch League AGM in February it was voted on and unanimously passed that the winner of the match between Appleby, who won the North League, and Penrith A who were relegated from the Northern Premier League should have a play off match to see who will join the Northern Premier League teams for the 2018 season.
Windermere will host this one off match to see who joins Carlisle A, Carlisle B, Brampton A, Workington A, Workington B, And Seascale A for this season. It should be a fascinating match with those players who can hold their nerve being the ones to come out on top. As this is a first in the Scratch League, if a draw occurs after the end of the match then the number one team players will have a sudden death play to decide the outcome.
