Cumbria county 4's Round 1 Rules

The Cumbria County 4s Competition will be played on a course located in the Cumbria Union area.
Each team will consist of two players playing off scratch. Each player must have a competitive ( c ) handicap listed in the Central Database of Handicaps (CDH) of the player’s home club. Each player must be a member of a golf club affiliated to the Cumbria Union or be born in Cumbria and be a playing member of a club in another county affiliated to England Golf. Players will provide their CDH number on the official online entry. The entry fee must be paid prior to the Competition through the website, cumbria-golf-union.org.uk
Teams must report to the Registration Desk at least 10 minutes before their morning tee-off time.
The Competition will consist of 2 rounds. The morning round will be in Four Ball Better Ball format and the afternoon round will be played in Foursome format.
The Competition will be run by the County Executive, with 3 Executives appointed on the day as the Organising Committee, with the authority to resolve any questions or disputes arising. Their decision will be final.
Referees will be appointed and be in attendance during the competition.
At the completion of each round, the team will review their score in the recorder’s office provided. Ensuring the card is checked and signed before handing over.
The winning team will be the one returning the lowest aggregate gross score for the two rounds. In the event of a tie, there will be a card countback on the last round played to determine the winner. The winners will have the trophy engraved before it is returned to the organisers before the next year’s competition.
There will be a Presentation of the Trophy and Prizes as soon as practicable after the close of play.
